Technical production for events

Technical production is the part of an event nobody is meant to notice: drawings, stage, LED screens, lighting, sound, truss, cabling and the operators behind the desk on the day. A coordination agency rents this equipment and ties its schedule to somebody else's warehouse. All of ours sits in our own inventory: 1,000 m² of LED, 920 lighting fixtures, 1,200 m of TÜV-certified truss, 186 PA units, 249 microphones and 36 km of fibre optic cable. Our own team produces the drawings and handles clearance with the venue's technical department. We also join events run by another agency or by the client's own team as the technical partner.

How a build runs, from site survey to derig

Every build starts with a site survey: door sizes, ceiling height, rigging points, available power. Those measurements produce the stage plan, rigging plan and load calculation, and the crew starts once the venue signs them.

On the day the operating crew stays in the room, with a named lead for sound, lighting, LED and video signal. The cable list is the part nobody sees and the longest stage of the build, so we work with prepared assemblies to cut connection time on site. On an open site or across several buildings we carry the signal on our own fibre.

For the client the practical meaning is simple: if a technical issue comes up, there is one number to call. Equipment, crew and drawings come from the same company, so responsibility is not split between suppliers.

How we work

Five steps. Each one ends in a document, so the client can see what is ready at every stage. The word methodology usually stays on a slide. Here each step has an owner, a deadline and an approver written down in advance. As events grow, the steps stay the same and only the documents get thicker.

  1. 01

    Brief and objective

We write down who should do what after the event. The measure of success comes from here, not later.

  2. 02

    Concept and programme

Format, narrative, guest journey and a minute-by-minute programme.

  3. 03

    Drawings and clearance

Stage plan, rigging plan, load calculation. The venue's technical department signs it.

  4. 04

    Build and delivery

The crew works to the drawing. On the day the operating crew stays in the room.

  5. 05

    Derig and report

The venue is handed back. The report sets what was planned beside what happened, cost included.

Technical base

The technical base of the event is ours and does not depend on a rental chain. Our own team produces the drawings. Since 2023 we have delivered 17 projects, and our clients include 15 government and international institutions.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between technical production and event management?

Event management covers the programme, guests, venue, catering and logistics. Technical production is the stage, screens, lighting, sound and the drawings behind them. We do both, but the technical side can be ordered on its own.

Do you work as the technical partner on another agency's event?

Yes. The agency or the client's team runs the programme and we run technical production. We assign one technical lead who works directly with your coordinator.

In what format are drawings delivered?

A DWG and PDF drawing set, a load calculation table and 3D renders. We also handle correspondence and revision rounds with the venue's technical department.

Is the equipment really yours?

Yes. LED screens, lighting, sound, truss, stage modules and fibre sit in our warehouse. So when we confirm a date we do not ask a third party about availability, and there is no middleman margin in the budget.

Do you provide technical specifications for tenders?

Yes. We supply equipment details, control protocols and mounting types in a form that can be copied straight into tender documents.

What should we send for technical production?

The venue name or plan, the date, the number of guests and a short outline of the programme: how many speakers, panels or performances, and whether video will be shown. With that we send a technical plan and budget within one working day.

Let's discuss your event

A brief can be one paragraph: what the event is, the date, the number of guests and which part you need from us. We reply within one working day with a technical plan and a budget.
