Project Overview
The Karabakh GreenTech Hackathon was organized within the framework of Azerbaijan’s 2022–2026 Socio-Economic Development Strategy and “Azerbaijan 2030” National Priorities, aiming to support the sustainable reconstruction of Karabakh through green innovation.
The program attracted 300+ young participants from 96 teams, with 17 teams (65+ participants) selected to compete. Following initial pitching, 8 teams advanced to the MVP stage, developing solutions within **24 hours at the ASAN Innovative Development Center.
Proposed solutions focused on green technologies, agritech, renewable energy, and mine clearance.
As a key outcome, 3 teams were selected as winners, 2 of which secured investment and continue operating as active companies. Additionally, the winning projects will be showcased at the **Green Zone of COP29, providing international visibility for Azerbaijan’s green innovation ecosystem.
